LocalPulse Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of LocalPulse. By using LocalPulse, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.
Use of LocalPulse
You may use LocalPulse to discover nearby merchants, follow businesses, submit check-ins, submit community notes, suggest places, manage merchant profiles, and use related services. You must provide accurate information and comply with applicable laws.
Accounts
You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not share access credentials, impersonate others, create fraudulent accounts, or use LocalPulse to mislead customers or merchants.
User and merchant content
You are responsible for the content you submit, including reports, notes, photos, business details, claim documents, and dispute information. You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit that content. LocalPulse may remove, restrict, or review content that appears inaccurate, unlawful, abusive, unsafe, or inconsistent with these terms.
Merchant listings and live status
LocalPulse provides community and merchant-submitted information that may change quickly. We do not guarantee that merchant hours, availability, stock, promotions, location, or live status are always accurate. Users should verify critical information directly with the merchant when needed.
Payments and subscriptions
Paid features may be offered through Stripe, Google Play, Apple, or other supported payment providers. Fees, billing periods, renewals, refunds, and cancellations may depend on the payment provider and plan terms shown at checkout. Some merchant activation or subscription fees may be required before business features become available.
Prohibited conduct
You must not abuse the service, submit false reports, manipulate trust or conflict signals, scrape the service, interfere with security, upload malicious files, violate third-party rights, harass others, or use LocalPulse for unlawful purposes.
Third-party services
LocalPulse may link to or use third-party services such as Firebase, Google Maps Platform, OpenStreetMap, Mapbox, Stripe, and email or analytics providers. Their own terms and policies may apply.
Service changes
We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue features at any time, including to improve reliability, address abuse, comply with law, or manage operational limits.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
LocalPulse is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption arising from your use of LocalPulse.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for users or merchants, or use the service in a harmful or unlawful way. You may stop using LocalPulse at any time and may request account deletion.
